    ### Material Requirements

    1. **Non-combustibility**: The materials shall meet Class A non-combustibility standards, such as inorganic fiber composite panels, metal panels, and fire-resistant glass.

    2. **Structural Stability**:

    - Metal sheet thickness ≥ 0.8 mm, melting point ≥ 750°C.

    - The thickness of the non-combustible inorganic composite panel shall be ≥10.0 mm.

    - Fire-resistant glass shall comply with the GB 15763.1 standard.

    - Fire-resistant sealant shall be applied to fill the joints between vertical walls and ceilings or wall surfaces.

When the clear room height exceeds 3 m, the droop height shall be calculated using the following formula: $h = 1.6 + 0.1 \times (H - 3)$, where $H$ represents the clear room height.

    - Rigid smoke-control vertical curtains (e.g., metal panels, fire-resistant glass) shall have a single-panel width of no more than 2,000 millimeters.

    - Flexible smoke-control curtains (e.g., made of inorganic fiber fabric) shall have a single-section width ≤ 4,000 mm.

    3. **Operational Performance**:

    - The operating speed of the operable roller-type smoke barrier shall be ≥0.07 m/s.

    - The operating time of the movable, flap-type smoke barrier shall be less than 7 seconds.

    ### Installation Requirements

    1. **Installation Location**: The bottom of the vertical wall shall be at least 2.8 meters above the floor to ensure safe passage for personnel.

    2. **Fixing Method**:

    - Fixed vertical wall panels shall be secured to the building’s primary structural elements (such as concrete beams or steel structures) using expansion bolts or by welding; attachment to non-load-bearing components, such as ceiling grid members, is strictly prohibited.

    - The operable vertical wall guide rail shall be installed vertically, with a deviation of ≤3 mm per meter and a total deviation of ≤10 mm over the entire length.

    3. **Interlocked Control**: The system shall be interlocked with the fire alarm system to ensure automatic deployment of the drop-down mechanism in the event of a fire, while also providing manual control for emergency use.

    ### Maintenance Management

    1. **Regular Inspections**: Conduct monthly checks for surface cracks and deformation, ensure that joints with walls and ceilings are properly sealed, and verify that bolts are securely tightened; for operable units, test both manual and automatic lowering functions.

    2. **Quarterly Maintenance**: Clean the fabric of the movable smoke-control damper curtain and its guide rails to remove dust and grease; inspect the electrical wiring for damage to the insulation and check the terminals inside the control box for looseness.

    3. **Troubleshooting**: When deformation of the vertical wall, motor failure, or seal failure is detected, the equipment must be immediately shut down and repaired; “operation while faulty” is strictly prohibited. Repair records must be archived and retained for at least three years.
